You get the chance to place one of your own songs on the official soundtrack of the motion picture „Mitfahrgelegenheit“. Your song is played in movie theaters and is gonna be released on the soundtrack record. Maybe the right thing to kick off your career…

Applications are to be made up to and including October 31^st..

How it works:

• Watch the Trailer (see above) and gather information at www.filmtrip.de about the emerging movie
• Decide on your own which of your songs fits best to „Mitfahrgelegenheit“.
• Load the chosen song onto your MySpace profile page.
• Message us at MySpace with information on:
  • short introduction of you / your band
  • link to your MySpace page
  • title of the song
  • short statement that gives reason why to choose your track for the film and the soundtrack record

Applications are to be made up to and including October 31^st..

Why should you join?

• Pushing your career? Promotion for free? Additional income? Your own song in movie theaters and on disc? The reason is yours to choose…
• Production of the soundtrack is assured and will be distributed by amazon.com et al.
• All bands and musicians get 1/3 of total profit. Selling price is adjusted at mutual consent. For division details see scheme on the left
• When selling a disc at your own concert you get additional 30% discount which is all yours.
• „Mitfahrgelegenheit“ (and your track) will be shown at least in German repertory cinemas, and will be available on DVD and as a download
• All participants are presented on this website and on www.filmtrip.de

Decision making

The Filmtrip team decides by November 5^th along with the actors Matthias Dietrich and Martin Kaps which 13 of the offered competition tracks will make it finally on the soundtrack album. Song no. 14 is ‘Are you ready‘ by ‘Jenix‚.

Note:

• With the submission of your competition track you allow the Filmtrip team the optional utilization and association (you grant license) of your song with the motion picture „Mitfahrgelegenheit“ and the corresponding soundtrack record.
• You guarantee having all necessary rights of your song. You indemnify the Filmtrip team of all indemnity claims of third parties.
• The copyright holders alone are allowed to submit their songs. No submissions by fans!
• No covered songs

Legal recourse is excluded. Likely 10 of the 14 tracks will be used in the movie. All 14 tracks will be on the soundtrack record.
